Meta previews upcoming generative AI tools on WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram.
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced several AI technologies in various stages of development, including AI chatbots for Messenger and WhatsApp, AI stickers and other tools that would enable photo editing in Instagram Stories in addition to in-house products. The news follows last month’s announcement of testing tools that use AI to generate image backgrounds and text variants for ad campaigns.
Meta also announced plans to hold an internal AI hackathon focused on Generative AI in July, which could lead to even more new products!
LinkedIn is the next social network to offer AI tools for ad copy
LinkedIn announced the development of AI-generated ad text suggestions using advanced OpenAI GPT models. The template uses data from your LinkedIn Page and Campaign Manager settings, such as: B. Objective, targeting criteria and audience to suggest headlines and ad copy to help launch campaigns. The tool offers five title and text recommendations that you can select and edit as needed. This feature is currently in testing and is only available to select customers in North America. However, Linkedin plans to roll them out to more users soon.
TikTok is expanding its Series paywall feature to include more creators
TikTok’s Series paywall feature, which launched in March for select content creators, is now available to users in 94 countries. This feature allows creators to lock a “series” of exclusive content behind a paywall, which can span up to 80 videos. With Series, users can earn up to $190 from their video collection and post videos up to 20 minutes long (instead of the usual 10 minutes).
To qualify for this feature, creators must be at least 18 years old, live in one of the eligible regions, have 10,000 followers, and have posted 3 public videos and reached 1,000 views in the last 30 days.
Twitter extends tweet-editing window for blue followers to one hour
New to Twitter Blue, subscribers now have an hour to edit their tweets instead of 30 minutes. Twitter Blue users can still use the untweet feature, which allows them to untweet within 30 seconds of clicking the send button.
