Investing in Lego – now it’s time to get ready for Christmas

The Christmas dates are just around the corner. You need to recharge your batteries in order not to be late for the party. Things get tense with some Lego sets.

It’s the first Christmas we’re seriously investing in Lego. This year will be an important test that will allow us to assess whether our commitment to the level of bank funding can bear fruit. I assume that will be the case, but it will be good to be able to confirm.

By buying directly from Lego, we know the return dates of the products better. So we wanted to wait until the last moment to buy some sets that will now be phased out at the end of July. I have to admit that we made a mistake with this strategy. We’ve waited too long for a specific set and it seems that in May it’s already sold out at all major retailers, so we have to buy it directly from online stores and Amazon. Let’s see if we can get the amounts we need this way.

It’s also true that you can find out Lego’s EOL dates without buying directly from Lego. That’s why I recommend not waiting too long for the sets that will be withdrawn at the end of July. While there can be good deals as early as late October and November, you may be completely out of the game if you don’t start fueling up now. Buy now to sell this Christmas.

As such, we will now finalize the purchases of the sets that will be phased out at the end of this year. This will also put the warehouse to the test, although it offers more than 600 m² of space. It will be fun to see the numbers from the end of this year.

Stay tuned.
