THE PREFERENCES OF THE FRENCH ON SOCIAL NETWORKS
We consult on average every month 5.8 social media platforms..
Every month, connected French people between 16 and 64 years old mainly access Facebook (more than 72.3% of them), followed respectively by Whatsapp (63.7%) and Instagram (60.3%).
TikTok occupies sixth position, with 39.4% of French people using the platform every month. However, it reached fourth position among the French people’s favorite platforms and breaks all records for the social network on which we spend the most time: 38 hours 38 minutes per month, only for the Android app! (it was 21:24 per month last year).
YouTube is in second place with 16h50 per month.
More than 32% of connected French people between 16 and 64 years old (almost 1 in 3) consult social networks to find information about brands and products (an increase compared to last year).
THE FRENCH ARE INCREASINGLY MORE CONNECTED
More than 97% of French Internet users between 16 and 64 years old currently have a smartphone.
41.4% also have a game console and 26.5% have a connected watch or bracelet (+6.4% compared to last year).

To connect to the Internet, the French are increasingly using connected televisions (25.6% of us), video game consoles (18.4%) and connected home devices (14%).
WHAT THE FRENCH WATCH AS A TYPE OF ONLINE VIDEO
85% of French Internet users between 16 and 64 years old watch online videos : more than 32% of music videos, 19.5% of humor or meme videos, 19.4% of live broadcasts, 17.6% of gaming videos and 15% of videos and vlogs of influencers.
