Trip2Post promotes booking automation between hotels and influencers by connecting influencer profiles with ideal hotels for their campaigns.
Spain is one of the countries in Europe with the highest growth of influencer marketing and according to the study «Brand growth through influencer marketing» Made by IAB Spain and Nielsen in 2022, of the 10.5 million active influencers on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube in Europe, the 15% are Spanish then it positions itself Spain as one of the most influential countries in the sector.
With these data present and the need to cover the tourism sector as regards the relationship with influencers and campaigns, Trip2Post was born, a platform created by three young entrepreneurs specifically for influencer marketing in the hotel industry. Manuel Torres (CEO), Gloria Monserrat (CMO) and Iván Llabres (COO), are the three founders of this startup based in Mallorca, who have combined their knowledge in influencer marketing, tourism and business development to be able to provide solutions to intermediation between hotels and influencers.
Currently, consumer habits have shifted to a more digital plane, where people choose to make reservations or purchases through apps. All of this, brought into the hotel industry, has resulted in most room bookings being made through third parties, which reduces the hotels advantage. “The hotel industry is a very mature and systematic segment, and while we have seen an increased commitment to digitization and technology in recent years, sometimes the market fails to adapt fast enough as trends advance,” explains Gloria Monserrat, CMO and co-founder of Trip2Post.
Trip2Post, a platform for hotels, influencers and travellers
The platform looks like the first hotel portal that encourages direct booking. Any hotel can be present on the Trip2Post portal and appear in users’ search results. In this case, the application will redirect the user directly to the hotel’s official portal where he can make any type of reservation. Similarly, the results will be shown to users in a attractive through photos and videos of real experiences made by content creators, as well as providing detailed information on activities and places of interest in the destination.
One of Trip2Post’s unique services is its Influencer management system (IMS), created specifically to simplify the management of influencer campaigns. To do this, any influencer from anywhere in the world can register on the Trip2Post platform by providing links from their social networks, as well as part of their own metrics. This will allow the application to filter influencer profiles, always betting on quality and efficiency. Once the profile has been approved, you will be able to start relating to the hotels, which will be the ones who will make the final decision whether or not to carry out the collaboration.
For his part, hotels will receive a booking request with the full profile of the influencer, as well as the conditions and functions and with all the information provided, you can make the decision to accept or refuse the collaboration. In case the hotel agrees to cooperate, Trip2Post will take care of managing the entire campaign, including agreements, scheduling and monitoring. During the stay, the influencers will share content about the hotel stay, the activities and the attractions of the destination on their social networks. Afterwards, the hotel will receive a full report on all posts that the content creator has published.
A platform that seeks to boost your growth
In its founding year of 2022, the platform started with a round pre-seed with a value of €100,000, managing to lay the foundations of the business and start the technology. Now, with the intention of continuing to grow, the platform is seeking new funding that will increase its client portfolio, with the goal of reaching 580 hotels by 2025, as well as its portfolio of influencers, with a target of 1,250 by 2024. Similarly, the startup seeks to expand its work team with profiles in sales and marketing.
