On Instagram
Towards a net limit of spam in private messages
Instagram tries to make it harder for people you don’t follow to spam you with unwanted DM requests.
After testing this feature in June, Instagram only allows users you don’t follow to send an invite message before they can start chatting with you.
This can be text only, meaning you should no longer see unsolicited photos, videos, or voicemails in your message requests.
Previously, Instagram allowed users to send an unlimited number of message requests, which could quickly spiral out of control.
Message requests can be accessed via the “Requests” button above the inbox in the Instagram DM tab.
Note that you will only receive requests if your privacy settings require users to send a request before they can send you messages.

Tweetdeck renamed to XPro
The professional management tool well known to Community Managers as Tweetdeck announces its gradual transformation by changing its name to XPro.
Elon Musk has announced that this tool will become restricted to users who pay for the “Blue” plan, which does not yet appear to be the case as of August 7, 2023, but could change quickly.
