It’s a very simple idea. You need to look for something where the second hand product has more value than the new one. It seems counterintuitive but there are many examples.
I give you mine.
There are discontinued Lego sets that are more valuable than most new sets you can buy in any store. People are often unaware and delighted by the idea of receiving a new product versus a second-hand one. Let’s think for example of Duplo. Children grow up. At some point they will make the “jump” from Duplo to Lego.
We haven’t done the Lego case yet. But this yes. We have a platform where we offer graded (valuable) Pokémon cards versus “bulk” (no value or low value) cards. You can access this site and instead of paying in euros you send us 1000, 2000 or whatever the exchange price is.
For us these letters have value because we transform them into packs of 50 to sell on Amazon. These cards are more in demand than ranked cards. The proposal is perceived so well that a Youtuber had to make a video about us to prove that it is not a scam. Since then the letters have rained on us.
Well, I’ll leave that up to you as an idea.
Stay tuned.
