The goal of offering good content is to engage new users, so they become followers of your brand and keep those who already have you reading you. It may be that you have been successful for a while, but your content is now being shared less or that the number of users who follow you has stagnated. It’s time to examine why and analyze what you need to change. We’ll review the policies I think you should be aware of.
Key to good content
- Give your blog visitors reasons to visit your site frequently: Of course, we create original content that people can’t find anywhere else. Develop templates, e-books with instructions, tips or keys you need to follow to make something work properly….. Quotes etc. For example maybe your brand has something to do with the textile world, the people reading your blog are interested in fashion. Why not publish a small e-book explaining how to make a simple skirt? The goal of your content must be that the reader finds your content useful, entertaining and worth reading. If you only post something every now and then, the reader will not return to your page.
- SEO: Put the greatest value on the search engine optimization of your content. Use the appropriate keywords (once you’ve verified which words related to your brand or product people search for the most) and try to incorporate them into the titles and subtitles of your texts, the first paragraph of your content, and so on in the name you give to the videos or images. You can use very handy SEO tools. From now on, optimize your texts and if you have already done so, check your keywords and try to use them correctly.
- guest blogging: Accept posts from other people. They not only bring a breath of fresh air to your blog, but also offer you other advantages, such as e.gGenerate new traffic for your blog and attract new readers. If they like what they read, they will definitely come back.
- link building: Be sure to include at least one link in your content to another of your good content on your blog. Of course, it is related to the topic you are dealing with. This way they will know that you offer really good content and subscribe to your blog. On the other hand, you also have to bet at least one link to an article from an external site, which must be of high quality. This way you will increase the traffic of your blog.
- Split very long posts into multiple posts. It’s not fun to read a post that’s too long. A length of approx. 500 words is recommended. If you have a lot to share, don’t hesitate, split your post into several parts and publish one by one. Once published, be sure to link to them so the reader has access to all the information.
- Use social media creatively. We still see a lot of good content and when we want to share it we can’t find the Twitter button for example. Make sure the content can be shared properly, optimize the Twitter buttons so that when someone wants to share the title of your post, the link and your Twitter account are displayed directly.
On the other hand, if you already have a few thousand followers on your accounts, you’ve also gained an audience of peers who also share content relevant to your industry. - Organize agreements with other colleagues from the same industry and make sure they share your content with you at the same time, because that way you’ll both win.
In your opinion, what can still be improved to make the content more successful? Thanks for your comments!.
